The exhibition made colorful with contemporary interiors is made up of two parts.
The first ward presents the background of the family of József Eötvös. We can follow his course of life and role he played in the literal life. The documents presenting the information in connection with his son, the physicist are also of interest. The biedermeier room shows the function of the house. Portraits of Bertalan Székely made of Eötvös and his wife cover the walls. The study gives a unique atmosphere to the display.
The second part of the exhibition presents the history of the schools in Hungary in the 19th century. The objects and the works of students displayed prove that the politics of education favored the ideas of Eötvös. The exhibition ends with the reconstruction of a classroom of a people's school. The visitors may sit down on the benches and try the pencils and other tools of schools of that period.
