Our permanent exhibitions along with the opportunity for a visit inside the plant have largely contributed to the acceptance of the nuclear energy in Hungary. Beginning with a brief review of the local history the peaceful use of nuclear energy is presented with the help of photos and diagrams on 17 different collections of posters. Naturally it also provides the basic information on the operation principle of the nuclear power plant and the management of the radioactive waste. The groups of visitors can view the exhibition with qualified guides and after gaining the necessary knowledge they visit the plant in work.
A taste of the exhibition
The visit of the plant is always quite an experience since the visitors' face the fact for the first time that 40 per cent of the electricity produced in Hungary is generated here. The huge turbine hall, the turbines humming within an arm's reach and the immense proportions make an impression on everybody. Viewing the control room and the reactor hall through a glass wall is especially impressive and usually evokes series of questions.

The game machines placed in the area of the exhibition give tokens in return to right answers and the winner can choose among different gifts by using them.
