Between 1980 and 1987 the Child Organisation Historical Museum and the County Museum supervised the Balaton Highland Ethnographic Demonstration House found in th ecompound of the Zánka Child and Youth Center.
In 1989 it demonstrated the guest exhibitipon of the "Szórakaténusz" Game Museum entitled "Popular child games". In 1992 it had a great success in exhibiting the range of the game offers obtainable in our recent past (Child games at the millenium). In 1998, joining to the exhibition entitled "Today's art in Veszprém county", it organized a popular ornamentation activity for children.
Aafter all these, in 1999, invilving severalother museums, it arranged an new permanent exhibition of popular Hungarian child's games, entitled "Once upon a time there were games". It formed a shed workshop for the summer museum activities connected to this. In 1999 2500, and in 2000 4300 children took part in these activities.
The exhibition and summer activity series were arranged could be seen in the Zánkai Child and Youth Center.
