The leaders of Hajdúdorog did not only recognize that art is important but they are also ready to commit themselves to spreading it. This is how famous artists, students were able to open their art camp first in 2001 and then in 2002. The works were done in the Greek Catholic Grammar and Secondary School.

The partakers worked with different techniques on diverse topics. They paid homage to the beauty of Hajdúdorog by showing the religiousness and the simplicity of the town.

The artists offered a piece of their works each, which served as the basis for the exhibition. The artists were: Judit Balogh, Enikő Horkay Dr. Ferenc Janka, János Komiszár, Melinda Kóczián, Tibor Leleszi, Tiborné Leleszi, Zoltán Lovas, Márta Nyalka, Zsófia Sipos, Imre Szilágyi, Mrs. Urgyán Erika Tószegi, Erzsébet Wrábel, and Aliz Zeleni.
