Finds from excavations at the Benedictine Monastery of Vértesszentkereszt are shown in this room. Among the objects, the visitors can find enamelled stove tiles, book covers, ornament glasses made in one of the royal workshops, as well as burial finds related to the monastery.
During the excavation works of the Tata castle valuable finds came to surface. These prove that the rooms of the castle were furnished extravagantly when it was owned by Zsigmond and Mathias Rex. The nicest example of this is the enamelled stove tiles. We also show a completely reconstructed so-called 'stove with a knight shape'
The history of the construction of the castle is demonstrated by two models.
