The material of the stamp-graphics exhibition of Pál Varga graphic artist includes 166 stamps designed by the artist as well as the original graphics of the stamps. The large photos in the showcases over the stamps are supposed to emphasize the fine elaboration of the graphics. As if we saw tiny paintings with their relatives, the aquarelles and oil paintings.
The works of Pál Varga mainly concerned the nature preserving and techniques. Two of them won the Art Prize of the Hungarian Post, and six of them received the honor: the nicest stamp of the year.
Dr. István Böröcz, deputy manager of the Hungarian Post, will open the exhibition. Dr. László Molnár art historian will comment the works on. On the day of the opening, a temporary post office will be open in the museum.
