The Village House was moved from the village of Tömörkény. The Post History exhibition opened in the building in 1987. Two other exhibitions, 'Memoirs of Post Master Women' and the 'News of Tivadar Puskás' accompany this. continue

A taste of the exhibition
The Post History exhibition opened in 1987 in Ópusztaszer was added a new ward in 1996, on the 1100th anniversary of the Original Settlement. The new ward commemorates the telephone man, Puskás Tivadar. continue
A taste of the exhibition
At the tables, a female postmaster works and operates the switchboard. The telephone booth came from Szentes. If somebody tries to use it, then the postmaster has to help via CB radio. continue

The National Historic Memorial Park of Ópusztaszer hosts the Post History exhibition. The room of Female Post Masters is located in the middle room of the old Town House. The exhibition wishes to commemorate the female post masters who were among the first ones to stand up for emancipation. continue
