The archeology hall
The exhibition series is opened by a material demonstrating the multitudinous archaeological yards and the castles of the region. Besides the four thousand years-old man shaped urn and other findings we can also see the gothic window curve fraction of the Paulian monastery. continue

This permanent exhibition represents the regional cottier furnishing and costume. The exhibited rarities can be found nowhere else. continue
Pottery and hemp production
The visitors can look at the relics of the 19th century cottier handcrafts, the pottery works of Gömör and the whole range of instruments used for hemp processing. continue

Several old appliances can be seen in their original state: one cylinder stand from 1914, Schwarcz-Bauer system desintegrator, Worthington-ejector from 1895, Kerpely system gasdeveloping generator from 1904, and a 1000 mm track steam engine and its carriage from 1898. continue

The ironworks and the worker colonies in 1917
The building of the factory in Ózd began in 1846. In the museum mockups represent the single building of the factory at the time. One mine section, a wooden carriage and hand-held instruments reflect the technical quality of the end of the 19th century. Emphasis is made upon the importance of the brown coal in the life of the factory and the settlement. continue
