Miklós Káplár is the painter of the true visage of the Hortobágy. He continued his studies in the Academy of Fine Arts and with the help of József Rippl-Rónai. In the Miklós Káplár Museum besides an early self-portrait and shepherds' portraits, the best works of the 1930's, that is his low-horizoned plain-landscapes are the most outstanding pieces of the exhibition. continue
