A taste of the exhibition
Documents prove that potters surely worked in town even in the 16th century. They formed guilds towards the end of the 18th century and more and more potter workshop opened in town. A taste of the exhibition
Dr. Jenő Füstös first began collecting objects by local potters, then storing them in his own garage in 1983. His collection amounted to 1000 when he bestowed it to the Mezőtúr Museum in 2009.

Nearly 400 items were selected to show this time at our exhibition.
