The visitors of the exhibition might witness the contrast between the Western art that has influenced us and the root of Eastern and Japan Art. And beyond these two dimensions, you may also open up new perspectives. We are very excited about the new communication we can create in Budapest.

"Heart Art in BUDAPEST" will display a bride scale of the Japanese contemporary paintings, western painting, black ink paintings, calligraphy, prints, craft, sculpture litreture and photography.
In all countries where the exhibitions take place Heart Art communication is supported by the Japanese Embassy and is cooperating closely with their Embassy and the Japanese Embassy is involved in all intercultural projects organized by Heart Art Communication. Therefore we would like to express herewith our thanks to the Japanese Embassy in Budapest for their kind support.
The exhibition will be inaugurated by the Japanese Ambassador to Hungary, His Excellency Mr.Tetsuo Ito, the Chairman of Heart Communication, Professor Junji Ito, and Mr.Jankovics Marcell, President of the committee of the National Cultural Fund of Hungary.
Participating Artist
The participating artists have been selected through art association and organizations throughout Japan, who capped endorsement about the activities of Heart Art Communication. The main purpose of the exhibition is cultural exchange between the two countries to further development of friendship and mutual understanding; each artist represents their works from their specialties of genre. Participating artists include young generations from their 30's to the experienced artist in their 70's.
Calligraphy
Calligraphy is one of Japan's traditional arts and artistic expression of Kanji and Kana characters using ancient Japanese writing instruments of brushes and ink. Strength, suppleness, and thickness are expressed even from the same character, and the meaning of the characters are appreciated from the shape, movement of the brush, darkness of ink, total balance, and the meaning of the character.
Japanese Painting
Since ancient times, the Japanese Paintings has developed their own style with influences from China and Korea. Paintings are brushed on silk or paper and using pigment paints is the main characteristic.
