The exhibition demonstrates our forestry history and its current state.
The work done in domestic forests is mostly characterized by the human activity, logging, woodland supplement and tree planting. Both procedures are seen on photographs, models and mockups. Herbal-, nest- and bird egg collections refer to the life of the forest.
Natural values, nature protection - agriculture, nature protection The exhibition demonstartes the tasks and history of nature protection.
The Hungarian nature protection began in the 19th century and had reached achievements as early as before the first world war. A good number of the protected areas of the period between the two world wars are presented in the exhibition. The protected animals, plants and geological values are represented through photographs and mockups.
