Most parts of the Gödöllő hill range are covered by woods. The most widespread of all the trees found here is the oak.
In its most valuable divisions a natural park was established in 1990. Our exhibition represents three areas of the Gödöllő Nature Protection Region. Most part of the diorama demonstrates the flora and fauna of the oak woods. In the neighbourhood of the oakyl woodlands there are the marshy woods and the sedgy lakes.
The deer and the wild boar are the most typical wild animals of the woodland of Gödöllő region. Of the group of the carnivorous mammals we can list the widespread fox, the foumart and the ermine.
There are many kinds of the birds in th eregion. We can see black ousels, red crops, ox-eyes, woodpeckers, starlings, jays, falcons and and hawks.
In the woodlands accompanied by fields there is also a rich flora and fauna in this region. Of the huntable spieces we can find here the heirs, but their occourance is now less and less frequent.
The third kind of dwelling place is the sedgy lakes formed in the valley bottoms. Many kinds of fish, frogs and other creauters live in these waters.
Around the lakes sometimes we can see the rare rollers and owlets. We can see ermines voles as well.
The exhibition finishes with a review about the history of the hunting in the region.
