We get to the first room to the left of the porch. The visitor's eye will be captured buy a blue, tulip figured bed made up with embroidered bed cushons.
The first room
On the top of the feather filled duvet there is the embroidered and lace ornamented bed cover. The white one belongs to the first room. Same decor does not capture, only patterned cardboard the residential indoor bed cover.

In front of the bed there stands a tulip painted cradle. By the side of it there is a three-wheeled babywalker that was used by the toddler.

In the right corner there stands a painted corner bench from 1914. In front of it there is a wardrobe table, in the big filing drawer of which they kept bread, cutlery and the table-cloth. Bemches or chairs were only placed in the first room when guests were coming to the house (baptism, wedding, funeral. etc.).

In the windows small curtains and coloured fabric curtains are seen. The wings of this latter ones were tightly toied with a blue band.

Between the two windows, on the wall, the mirror is also an inevitable object. The ribbons of the girls were often hung on the little towers of the mirror.

An important piece of furniture is the carved and tulip figured bride bin as well. Things brought by the new wife to the house were placed in here.

High on the wall, underneath the beams, colourful plates were hanging in a circle. These were only used on the odd occassion.
