The exhibition presenting the past of mining in Ajka is located in the old transformer house. When the museum was opened, the building itself was still dilapidated and was only rebuilt later on.
A taste of the exhibition
The showing also includes the deed of gift of the Emma and Krisztina mines from 1872. Photos of the process of shaft building are on show in the middle of the room.

Documentaries and objects from life in the village are in separate showcases, as well as badges for outstanding work. Next to the showcases, uniforms used before and after 1945 are on display.

Exhibition-cases set up on the walls hold documents, contracts, research results up to nowadays.
