In Tokaj it was common to build a cellar under or next to the houses. Under the Museum of Tokaj, according to the region’s traditions, there is a complex system of cellars.

In the museum cellar there are some selected representative objects for wine making and storing (glass balloons, different- sized- barrels, bottles). Beside them, a so – called scaled aszú selector table can also be seen. This table is a special technical acquisition and innovation of Hegyalja.
