The Saint Christopher Chapel is located on the hill over the bleak. The original chapel was built with a shingle and wooden tower but was reconstructed in 1820. The new chapel was inaugurated in 1821 and was offered to St. Christopher again.
The Chapel
The altar-piece faithfully demonstrates the legend by picturing the scene when the saint carries the baby Jesus on his back over the flooded river. The fresco was painted by Gábor Miklósi in 1930. On Christopher's day, on the last Sunday of July, vehicles and drivers are blessed at an ecclesiastic ceremony at the church.

Those who feel that Szántódpuszta means more than that for them can have their wedding, celebrate their birthday or other anniversaries, hold family gathering at the chapel. If asked, we can even organize it.
