János Hoffer was born in 1890 in Losinca. He began working as a shepherd as a child.
First he shepherded pigs, later lamb. He learned wood carving from his brother and father-in-law. In 1963 he received the title 'Master of Folk Art'. In 1969 he participated at the 2nd Danube Banks Folklore Festival in Baja.
The exhibition presents articles and objects by the folk wood carver master János Hoffer János.
