five decades of fashion is and advertising history is illustrated at the, as well as the role of women in advertising. The material was selected of lesser-known pieces of the museum's collection. The exhibition reviews changing fashion trends from through 1900 to the end of the 1940s, at the same time monitoring changes in the female ideal of beauty and fashion in the twentieth century.
The atmosphere of each period and feeling is remonstrated through interiors, photo montages, contemporary clothes, shoes and other accessories.
