My first "workshop" was in the corner of uncle Lajos's pottery shop. Well-shaped pitchers took form on my cousin Lali's potter's wheel, one after another. As the clay was taking shape, figures appeared in my imagination. Please stop an glve me one of them!" - I asked him. That is how it happened.

I created a figure from it by pressing several times but leaving the large form of the pot as it was. This is how Svejk, the jolly good soldier, the Canon and, just for my own gratification, the others were born.
At that time a folk-pottery exhibition opened at the National Gallery. The hundreds of vessels and the number of guild pitchers and master works captivated me. It was there that I knew with absolute certainty that the manifestation of artists cannot be frank if it has no connection with the master's mentality. Who am I? A potter, a ceramist, a sculptor? Let me be only a master, an artisan! The last potter! It is honouring since the Greeks were only potters.I decided to produce my own "guild pitchers".
This is how it started and has been going on since then and will go on until the wheel stops.
