The Nádasdy Castle in Nádasladány was among the best in the 19th century in Hungary. The count Nádasdy Ferenc (1842-1907), the offspring of a historic family, had it built. The village was in their estates in the Transdanubian region. Nádasdy Ferenc chose to have the castle built in the style of the late Middle Ages, the Tudor style.
