The civic house named after Napoleon House was built in the 17th century but reconstructed in the 18th century. The name comes from the story that Napoleon spent a night there after the failure if the Kismegyer battle on 31 August 1809. The building also holds temporary exhibitions of the Town Arts Museum. The material is mostly contemporary and universal fine art.
