Gyula Takáts is honorary citizen of Kaposvár, one of the 'third generation of Nyugat'. He was born in Tab, in Somogy County in 1911. The talented student attended Ripple-Rónai's art classes. Gyula Takáts wanted to be a painter. Still, he graduated from the Faculty of Arts as a history-philosophy-geography teacher. continue
