The guard of the Káli Basin is Hegyestű situated 337 m high between Zánka and Monoszló. The north part of the hill that looks like a cone from the Lake Balaton was removed by the stone mine once operating there. The remaining almost 50-meter-high wall, however, uncovers the inside of the basalt volcano that was in operation 5-6 million years ago.
